in Advertising No Comments

What up blogosphere, been a minute since I dropped a post or two.  One of the reasons is I have been traveling.  The other week I made a stop in San Fran. this was my second time to the city ever and both have happened this year.  To show my love, I figured I would give a little west coast love, with this blog post.

Clothing retailer H&M got a bunch of fresh kids who know how to bust a move and got them to have a crazy dance off in San Fransisco.

Recent Google Name Change

In a historic move that will surely send the search world all a flutter, Google announced very early this morning, “that as of 1AM (Central Daylight Time) April 1st, [they] officially changed [their] name to Topeka.”  The move seems to be a good will gesture toward the city in Kansas formerly of the same name.  Earlier in the year, mayor of the formerly named city of Topeka, Bill Bunten, announced to the city’s constituents and the country in kind, that he will change the city’s name to Google.

Local residents have since been up in arms over the recent usage of their beloved former city’s name as a verb to perform a search on the search engine giant, now known as “Topeka”.

For more information, just “Topeka it” on the search engine, or read more here…

April Fools!

in Just for fun 1 Comment

Nothing like a good office prank….good luck to my colleague who will have to pick up all those cups of water, placed oh so delicately close together.

Walking into work I didn’t even realize it was April 1 (my first thought was wow Q1 is over–riveting) but the more I heard about pranks the more I felt compelled to pull one. This isn’t a classic but I think I pulled it together well in 15 minutes–1 walk to Duane Reade–$0, 150 plastic cups–$3.99, 5 gallons of water–$10.67…..working with a smile–priceless
